Felt bag
I made this felt bag whilst on a day course at Quarry Bank Mill, Styal, (National Trust). I used a mixture of blue and white wools to give a sea effect. The bag has been decorated with glass beads and lined with a silver fabric.

Handbag made from a linen and cotton mix fabric lined with cotton. The bag is decorated with linen flowers, sequins beads and topstitching in linen coloured and gold threads. The bag was adapted from a pattern in a French handicrafts magazine “Idees”, Mars Avril 2005.
Tote bag using Japanese fabrics
A lovely 2020 Christmas present, the kit was an ideal activity for lockdown 3. I adapted the pattern a little, making two narrow straps rather than the one strap suggested in the instructions. I also inserted a pocket and embellished the pattern with a Suffolk Puff with a button for the centre.
