Sewing machine bag

Handbag made from a linen and cotton mix fabric lined with cotton. The bag is decorated with linen flowers, sequins beads and topstitching in linen coloured and gold threads. The bag was adapted from a pattern in a French handicrafts magazine “Idees”, Mars Avril 2005.
Ive been looking around to get ideas for a sewing machine bag and stumbled across yours! Can I just say I LOVE this bag in its entirety?! What fabric did you use? I love, love, love it!!! Thanks for sharing 🙂

thanks for your kind comments. I used fabric that was left over from making curtains and Roman blinds in our kitchen. I love the birds, they’re full of character. I have recently seen the fabric on-line, but sorry, can’t remember the site. I think it was was linked the the BBC Great Britsh Sewing Bee site. I do remember the design was called “Chicks” and cost £15.00 a metre.
