Panel representing school for St. John’s banner

Using ideas from the children at school, Altrincham C.E. Aided School, I made this panel for the banner to represent school life for the birthday banner for St. John’s Church, Altrincham. I used felt, fabric and fabric pens to make the pictures as well as using an embroidered logo of the school from a sweatshirt. Starting at the top left corner and working clockwise, thanks go to the following pupils for their ideas:- dawing and painting by Emily, age 9, Yr.5; me and my friends at school by Sophie age 4, in Pink class; the school bag was suggested by a number of children:-Ben, age 8,Yr.3, Ally, age 4, Pink class, Lewis, age8, P4; the alphabet by Alexander, age 7, Yr.3; sports equipment by William, age 7, Yr.3, Amie, age 7, Yr.3, Emma age 9, Yr5; the rainbow cross by Thomas, Thomas, age 7 in Turquoise class; running round the playground at playtime by Max, age 5, purple class; Hearts and stars by Hana, age 5, P1.
